They are equipped with a low-noise device ( VECO trim) that reduces noise and vibrations by lowering the velocity of the fluid. This is key to prevent rapid deterioration of the trims as well as erosion of the valve bodies, bonnets, and piping. Design: GE Oil & Gas' s anti-surge valves are designed for severe operating conditions such as pressure up to 10, 000 psi in combination with sour and acid gas with high H2S concentration.
